Does anyone know where the speed was taken at the Indy Runoffs? After trying to find the results .. I see about 117 for HP . Seems a little low . Please enlighten me. Thanks a lot ,MM

Dan Meller in the Datsun 210 had three in a row at 117 and followed with a 116 in qualifying. A couple others had a single 117. Trap end seems to be before lift for T1.

Yes it's right before the brake zone in turn 1. I believe most FP guys run the same gearing as Mid Ohio. Not sure on HP.

Thanks. It looks like between gears for my VW . I have either a 118 or 128mph. I'll juggle tire size a little maybe.

The results are so hard to find on the SCCA site. Much easier to google them .

Just my thought, but getting there is more important than absolute top speed.
